She is an organizational consultant who has worked with a variety of organizations including banks, manufacturing companies, engineering firms, and educational institutions in the US, as well as organizations in Canada and in India (see Clients for more information). She has helped organizations reduce turnover, improve morale, and develop employee feedback systems. As an executive coach, she has worked with managers and executives to help develop more effective leadership skills. She has published extensively - her recent book Cultures, Organizations, and Work: Clarifying Concepts is now available. A recent publication on leadership in non-profit organizations was one of the top 20 downloaded and read articles in Nonprofit Management & Leadership in 2018 and 2019. She holds master and doctoral degrees in Industrial Organizational Psychology and a masters degree in Clinical Psychology.
