Sweets by Morgan opened its doors in October 2015 after weeks of renovation to the 600 sq. ft. corner shop located in historic downtown Jeffersonville. Painted in Light Blue, bright pink and lime green, decorated with cupcakes, Artificial cakes, a colorful chandelier and even a sprinkle covered counter top, it is truly a one of a kind shop! With Mo... rgan's hard work, dedication and her love for baking, Sweets by Morgan is now a household name in the southern Indiana area with over 9,000 followers. When creating the menu, Morgan knew she wanted to keep her great grandmothers spirit alive in her baking and that meant making everything from scratch, just like KaKa did. Sweets by Morgan only carries the freshest and finest ingredients. From the real unsalted butter used in our homemade frostings and cookies to the local fruits and vegetables used in our cakes and sweet breads. If making the item from scratch isn't possible... We aren't interested! In the summer of 2017, at the age of 28, Morgan was nominated as one of the top 20 under 40 business owners in the Southern Indiana area. She was featured in the Magazine along with 19 of her peers. In May 2018 Sweets by Morgan was the winner of the dessert category at The Taste of Jeffersonville and again in 2019. Sweets by Morgan has been featured in Extol Magazine, The Courier Journal, WDRB, The News & Tribune, Coffee News and Southern Indiana's Foodie Finder.
