Sweet on Cake is a small, boutique-style custom cake studio based in Napa, Calif., specializing in wedding cakes, sculpted cakes and special occasion cakes. We established our business in 2009 with the belief that cakes should be as beautiful and one-of-a-kind as the events they grace. Each cake is made to order and always baked from scratch, using... perfected family recipes (taste testing was hard work, but somebody had to do it!). It's our priority to give each cake the individual attention it deserves, which is why we take a limited number of orders per week. Our attentive and personalized customer service makes the process a sweet deal from start to finish. I'm Amber McKenney and I'm the owner, cake designer, and cake whisperer at Sweet on Cake. That's me on the left with my wedding cake back in April of 2015 (yes, I made my own cake!). I started out as a UCLA grad pursuing a career in journalism, and quickly surrendered to my true passion: cakes. After attending culinary school, working at a renowned wedding cake bakery, and appearing on the Food Network six times, I am fortunate to be able to do what I love every day! I believe there's nothing better than a flawless, pristine cake that also tastes as amazing as it looks.
