You will need a full, clean driving licence, including C1 category, a minimum of four GCSEs at grades A-C, including Maths, English and Science, or equivalent, or a functional skills certificate. As an Emergency Care Assistant you will attend cases of accident and sudden illness and respond to urgent, special and planned patient transfer requests .You will use advanced driving skills under blue light and normal traffic conditions to respond to emergency and routine calls as required. You will be required to assist a qualified practitioner to support the provision of high quality and effective clinical, personal, social and holistic care to patients. Full salary of £19,737 per annum will be paid on completion of probationary period. During this period (3-6 months, subject to reviews) you will receive a reduced salary of £17,422.23 per annum.
