Swan Pools

In 1984 Swan Pools was founded by a group of business men namely Dicky Swanepoel, Eben Potgieter, Sakkie Tuit and Dries van Tonder and we introduced the "free form" fibreglass-method of pool construction to the Vaal Triangle. In 1986 Dicky bought out all three partners and registered the company as a "cc". Shaun Swanepoel, his son, joined the compa... ny in 1993 and within two years Swan Pools had opened a maintenance division and started to operate nation wide and has since gone from strength to strength. 1996 Swan Pools expanded their marketing field to the whole of South Africa, and in 1999 we started a Swimming Pool Services Division. We entered the Government sector in 2000, and were contracted by the Department of Sport and Recreation to design, construct, erect and commission a Swimming pool complex at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Sebokeng. In 2001 we entered the commercial market and were subcontracted by Rainbow Construction to build a swimming pool for London Clubs International at their Emerald Safari Casino complex at Vanderbijlpark. Murray & Roberts Buildings contracted us to Fiber line and plumb the suspended lap pool and install a fountain system at Melrose Arch Johannesburg. Two swimming pool complexes were designed and constructed for the Hans Kerensky Golf estate in Phalaborwa. To date Swan Pools has constructed nationwide over 2500 swimming pools which vary from the family size pool to municipal public pools.
