About Swag-band
SWAG is a Raleigh, North Carolina based band. We have a large repertoire of both original songs and well-loved covers. Our music is a unique blend of rock, blues, pop and captivating originals. SWAG was formed in 2003 by Kurt Foerst and Scott Covington , guitarists and singer/songwriters extraordinaire. Through the years they have composed an impressive array of catchy songs with thought-provoking lyrics. In 2011 bassist Ray Parker and his talented wife Diane Beth (lead vocals and percussion) joined the mix. In 2013 we welcomed drummer Greg Wilson and in 2018 rhythm and bass guitarist Jim Kayarian. SWAG is an eclectic group of skilled, fun-loving musicians who know how to entertain a crowd. Our music is sometimes hard-hitting and grabs the audience with the lyrics and the message it delivers.
