Svelte Metals was born out of both necessity and love. Unable to find well-fitting bracelets and rings for her small wrists and fingers, Meghan Kanodia decided to take matters into her own hands. Working alongside artisans, she began to bring into being the very designs she had been dreaming of, and in Fall 2013 she launched the Svelte Metals line.... Meghan is a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design and started her career as an intern and freelancer at some of the top companies in the industry including ELLE, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, and Stella McCartney. She has also worked with stylists and costume designers for editorial, commercial, and film shoots. Her industry experience has helped her cultivate her design aesthetic, while also assessing pieces available in the marketplace. As founder and designer of Svelte Metals, Meghan believes that every piece of jewelry should be well made and fit beautifully-fashion jewelry in equal measure to fine jewelry.
