My love and passion for seniors flourished while spending countless hours with my grandparents on their fa... rm in Clovis, CA, where they farmed figs, almonds, and some walnuts. I learned about milking goats and cows, riding horses and donkeys, fetching eggs, and canning fruit. I still love the fresh fruit and vegetables from a home grown garden! I also had the privilege to live with my Great Grandmother at The Bonaventure Mobile Home Park in Clovis, CA for one summer; I made many fond memories and love many friends/clients who live there today. They are some of my favorite people! Many years ago, I had the great challenge of being a Home Care Nursing Assistant, and for nine years I worked exclusively with seniors. One of my clients was a quadriplegic with multiple sclerosis and cancer, and through the experience, I was able to see first hand the many difficulties seniors can endure with insurance companies. On the other hand, I developed a deep appreciation for the knowledge and life experience of each senior, and their lessons continue to inspire me!
