PITTSBURGH - Superior Home Care, one of the most progressive providers of home health and home care services in the Pittsburgh area, has recently moved its administrative office and training center to 500 N. Pirilla-Scalise, executive director of Superior Home Care, the new locatio... n will enable the organization to better serve its expanding caregiving team and puts it within closer proximity to its growing base of clients in the South Hills and Mon Valley areas. "We chose to relocate to our new office in Pleasant Hills because it was designed specifically for how our team works," she said. "It provides us with one contiguous office space that seamlessly blends our administrative and training operations. In addition, our new office is centrally located so we can better serve our clients and their families throughout the greater Pittsburgh area." In conjunction with the move, Superior Home Care has formed a strategic alliance with Southwestern Healthcare Center, a South Hills-based provider that offers a skilled nursing center, assisted living center and independent/personal care supported apartment complex. "This partnership will open up greater training and work opportunities for all of our staff," said Scalise. "They will be able to get experience performing hands-on care under supervision. Staff can work in any of these settings, as much or as little as we feel appropriate, depending on their skill proficiency. That brings us closer to our goal of offering stable and consistent full-time work to our employees." Formed in 2002, Superior Home Care now encompasses two separate companies.
