We have devoted years of research in design and extensive professional testing to pursue our dream of creating woodwind reeds which offer the highest standards of performance and endurance possible. Our philosophy from the beginning has been one of trying to follow in the fine tradition of reed manufacturers from the past while at the same time uti... lizing advancements in technology which have added an element of precision unavailable years ago. Since the early 1990's, when Superial, "DC" and Classique were born, these reeds have now become internationally recognized as being in a class of their own, played day in and day out by not only some of the most well-known jazz stars in the world, but also by thousands of respected local working musicians, teachers and students of all kinds. In 2007, after years of prototype work and extensive testing, our newest creation , Alexander N Y went into production. From my dream of creating better reeds years ago, this project has evolved way past my wildest imagination and it is of great personal satisfaction to know that so many saxophonists and clarinetists seem to have experienced the same positive response with them as I did.
