In 1999, they purchased the Hardee's in Perry, FL and quickly transformed an under-performing store into a successful operation and a community gathering place of sorts. In 2007, John and Sharon decided to purchase their hometown Hardee's in Jasper, FL. Once again, with hard work and a winning formula, John and Sharon produced another successful Ha... rdee's and it now serves as a gathering place for all of Jasper to be proud of. Sunburst Restaurant Inc. has continued to be a family business and as of 2014, the reigns were turned over to John and Sharon's daughter Kristin and her husband Cannon Campbell. While Hardees' of Perry and Jasper remain a sense of pride for Sunburst Restaurant Inc. (SRI), we are excited to be growing and have decided to expand into two new locations. We are looking for great people to help continue our family business. The Monticello Florida Hardee's location will be open in early September 2018, and Lake Park Hardee's as of August 1, 2018. Cannon, a former professional tennis player, and Kristin, a successful speech pathologist for over 23 years, add a unique husband and wife perspective very similar to the husband and wife team that started Sunburst back in 1999.
