Summit Place West

Summit Place West is a nonprofit corporation sponsored by Lakeview Manor, a skilled and intermediate care nursing center that has been recognized for its superior care for the past 30 plus years. Lakeview Manor was founded in 1968 by Rev. Thomas Paino, Jr., who remains active in the oversight and direction of both Lakeview Manor and now Summit Plac... e West. Lakeview Manor has also sponsored two affordable senior housing projects: Lakeview Village, Speedway, Indiana, in 1979 and Lakeview Place, Danville, Indiana, in 1987. Rev. Paino's son, Tim Paino, has worked with him since 1974 in each of these projects and continues as the Executive Director of this exciting community. Tim brings both his knowledge of health care as a licensed Health Facility Administrator and his 25 plus years of experience as a senior housing manager together to create a home with the support services to help the resident remain independent as long as possible.
