Amporn Leininger has more than 10 years of experience in the personal financial planning industry. She provides comprehensive financial planning specializing in college & financial aid and academic planning. Her specialization in... college and financial aid started in 2000 when her oldest son prepared for college and she realized that many baby boomer parents need assistance in determining with the most effective ways to finance their children's college education as well as funding their own retirement. Prior to establishing her firm she gained her financial expertise as a Senior Personal Financial Analyst at Bank of America's Executive Financial Counseling Dept. in San Francisco. Following this as a Security Broker for several San Francisco Bay Area brokerage firms, she furthered her investment and portfolio management expertise. Ms. Leininger earned her M.A. in International Economics from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, California, and earned her Certificate (with distinction) in Personal Financial Planning from UC Berkeley. She is a Series 65 (Registered Investment Advisor) and Insurance licensee and an EAC (Enrolled Agent), a Tax Professional Entrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Service. In addition, she is a member of the National Financial Aid Practitioners Alliance, the NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents), and the CSEA (Califonia Society of Enrolled Agents).
