Summer Jam

There will be no Y-Country Summer Jam concert at Silver Beach Shadowland Pavilion in the Summer of 2020. After thoroughly examining the possibilities versus the potential public health challenges, 97.5 Y-Country has determined that its not possible to effectively stage the event in 2020. The uncertainty surrounding public health requirements going forward simply preclude organizing a quality concert event for several thousand Y-Country listeners this year, said Summer Jam founder and producer Gayle Olson. He emphasized that the Y-Country Summer Jam will be back in 2021. Olson had special praise for Summer Jams major sponsor since 1998, Your Neighborhood Michigan Ford Dealers. Ford started with us at the Hartford Fairgrounds, moved with us to Lake Michigan College in 2000, and then to Shadowland Pavilion since 2006, allowing us to bring some of Country Musics biggest names to Southwest Michigan early in their careers.
