Tom Davenport, Summer Hill Farm owner and trainer, graduated from Park College with a degree in Equine Science. Tom maintains a lifetime membership with the USEF & USHJA. He has a wonderful clientele and enjoys training riders and their horses. Tom is naturally intuitive. Tom exudes patience and consistently demonstrates and emphasizes the importance of safety for both horse and rider. Tom truly appreciates the art and dynamic of English riding and prides himself on empowering his students with the proper fundamentals and techniques of hunt seat. As a highly accomplished rider with numerous championship accolades, Tom enjoys the show circuit and encourages his students to experience the thrill of competing. Tom frequently takes students to horse shows throughout the Midwest and Florida, as well as local shows in the area. For students that would like to compete, but prefer to stay local, Summer Hill Farm shows at KCPHA and KHJA recognized horse shows.
