Growing up in Holyoke, MA youth sports were a huge part of my life. I remember being 12 and fielding a ground ball during baseball practice. As I twisted and threw to first I felt a sharp pain and intense spasm through my lower back. After several days of using heating pads and getting no where, my father brought me to a chiropractor. Within a few adjustments I was back to the ball field pain free. After completing a Bachelors of Science in Biology at The University of Vermont in 1999, I enrolled in chiropractic school. In 2003 I graduated Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C. and began working in Saugus, MA for a wonderful mentor. My wife Colleen and I married in 2004 and a year later we opened our office in Salisbury, MA. Our work over the past 6 years has been tremendously rewarding as we have assisted people in improving their quality of life and finding better, healthier ways to live. I use a variety of chiropractic techniques to accommodate my patients needs including manual adjustments, myofacial (muscular) therapy, spinal corrective exercises, and spinal corrective traction. My chiropractic specialty is in a field of chiropractic called Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), and I am 1 of 7 chiropractors in Massachusetts certified to use this technique. The CBP technique is based on the most current scientific research of the structure and function of the spine available.
