Success Abroad Counseling is a unique counseling center that specializes in facilitating cultural understanding and education between Japan and the US. Our counselors came from Japan and received masters degrees in counseling and related fields in graduate schools in the US, so we are bicultural and bilingual. We help Japanese people, who come to t... he US to study, to work, or to live. We help them to adjust to the new culture and achieve their goals. Conversely, we help American people, who study with, work with, or live with Japanese people, to understand the differences between cultures and to learn how to get along better. We are here to help in many ways: (1) If you are a host family having a difficult time communicating with your Japanese student; (2) If you are thinking of marrying a Japanese national; (3) If you are married to a Japanese spouse; (4) If you are a second generation Asian person who is having difficult time dealing with your first generation immigrant parents; (5) If you work with a Japanese coworker who is totally different from you; or (6) If you are having difficult time understanding American culture.
