In addition to standard therapeutic methods, which form the core of our program, treatment is augmented by holistic wellness strategies aimed at integrating mind, body, and spirit. Each segment of the program focuses on one or more specific issues that arise in the lives of the participants, for example: Depression, Stress, Management , Anxiety and... Fear Nutrition and Wellness Trauma Conflict and boundaries Loss/Grief Exercise and Medication The more general aspects of the program provide a format within which a therapeutic "group" dynamic is fostered, serving as a nurturing environment in which participants can freely discuss their problems, as well as test strategies for coping. At the same time, clinicians conducting group sessions will be monitoring and evaluating the individual needs of each participant, with the goal of maximizing the benefit of the program to each individual participant as the program proceeds toward completion. Treatment team includes: Psychiatrist/Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health (LPCMH)/Nurse Practitioner. Weekly medication management and monitoring by psychiatrist. It is anticipated that clients will benefit by: - Realizing they are not alone. In a supportive group therapy experience, participants will cultivate coping tools and personal strategies for successfully maneuvering through the daily challenges of their lives. They will learn to prevent crises, and they will be encouraged to develop an understanding of themselves and of others, enabling personal growth and the capacity to find a sense of purpose as part of the larger community.
