The following is an introduction from our Director which gives you a background to Tailored Business Solutions (TBS). "I was trained at the Motorola Executive Institute and spent 10 years in a variety of management roles in the UK and Europe. I su... bsequently spent 3 years at a PC Software Training Company in the City of London in the role of Chief Executive. My commercial background and experience enabled me to appreciate the pressures placed upon management and staff and the need to provide support to proactively manage this important aspect within the organisation. I subsequently became interested in the area of stress management and, influenced by Professor Cary Cooper, an Organisational Psychologist at Manchester University, I retrained and qualified in Stress Management, Counselling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. In 1996 I set up TBS, a team of commercial business leaders specialising in stress and change management. During the past 13 years we have worked with a number of organisations and provide a range of services to help managers to proactively manage stress in the workplace and implement practical solutions to provide an integrated approach to health, wellbeing and performance. We have designed a number of programmes to help individuals develop effective coping strategies to manage pressure and change, helping to maintain their physical and mental wellbeing, efficiency and performance. Further to the continuing success of our commercial programmes and the need to provide additional support for individuals who had identified their sources of stress, we have resourced a series of follow up Stress Surgeries which have been very well received.
