Straight Up SEO was formed in late 2010 initially to address the lack of clarity and results in the Gold Coast SEOindustry. It became very quickly apparent that these issues existed beyond just Gold Coast SEO and we started getting calls for SEO services from right across the country and even from around the world. Not bad for a comany only 3 month... s old. Whilst the formation of the company is new, the approach is not. As director of Straight Up SEO I bring approximately 5 years knowledge at both an academic and commercial having first seen SEO when completing my I.T diploma back in 2006. Since then my hunger for knowledge of this marketing solution has led to me building a number of my own sites with a view to testing out my own theories rather than using our customers as 'guinea pigs'. Having the knowledge academically I now wanted to understand how to realise the commercial power of SEO and that is why in early 2009 I started working with a local Gold Coast SEO firm as a Business Development Manager learning how to identify business needs and provide a solution to them. Promoted quite quickly to the role of Sales Manager I seen that this was a long term career that I wanted to pursue so in late 2010 I founded Straight Up SEO and the rest is, well, history.
