In 2009, Marc and Kimberly, owners of Str8 Shots, wanted to tak... e a shot at making one of their dreams come true. They wanted to provide dart and billiard players opportunities to shine in their respective sports; opportunities they might not otherwise have available to them. They knew that tournaments were lacking in Colorado so they took their own money and held an event at a pool room in Colorado Springs. The morning of the event there were many spots still open and they thought they had miscalculated pool player's desires. However upon arriving to set up for the event, there was a line of players waiting to register and the field was full for the tournament that day. They continued adding their own money to events throughout Colorado for several more tournaments and then decided to start a dart and billiard retail site to help supplement their dreams. They have grown substantially since then and have become the only retailer to give such a large portion of their profits back to the players directly. They have high standards and expect a lot from the people they work with but they try hard to make sure that good sportsmanship is rewarded. While they are both heavily involved in making their dreams a reality, they have put together the finest team of people to run the day to day operations.
