Our specialty is writing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) for industrial operators. These documents are required for each facility that has been issued an NPDES stormwater discharge permit. Many states also require that permittees certify that a SWPPP has been written for the facility when the permit is renewed. We suggest that the SWPPP should be updated every several years, or at least at permit renewal time, to reflect changes at the facility and new BMP technologies. If you believe your facility is exempt from Permit coverage, we can visit your site and determine if a Certificate of No Exposure is warranted. We concentrate on providing NPDES Stormwater Permit services to manufacturing facilities, boatyards, and transit authorities. Companies will appreciate our one-on-one service and lower fees that a larger consultant may not be able to provide. Few consultants have more experience than our firm in writing SWPPPs and helping facilities comply with their stormwater permit. A new service we started offering in 2010 is the sample collection & analysis of effluent from sand filter/ septic systems to home owners in central North Carolina. Our office is located in Raleigh, North Carolina, but we provide services to clients anywhere in the United States.
