The Home is run by an excellent and reputable manager who has been with the Home for over 25 years. A good proportion of the staff have also spent a significant number of years at the Home and have good experience of settling residents in and making them feel at ease. The Home has 27 single bedrooms (a number with en-suites) and two twin bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms are individually characterised and are colourful. Residents are encouraged to bring their own memorabilia and cherished belongings with which to decorate the room. Stoneacre Lodge is located in the idyllic area of Dunsville with a number of local amenities available. The Home has well tended gardens and suitable garden furniture for residents and their visitors to enjoy the pleasant surroundings. The cooks at Stoneacre Lodge provide nutritional, tasty and varied meals and desserts; all dietary needs are catered for and assistance is at hand if required. A resident can either eat in the comfort of the dining room or in the privacy of their own room. My mum lived here for nine years and received excellent care.
