Formed in January 2013, SGI focuses on field service activities for a global market place while maintaining a laboratory and manufacturing facility in Raton, New Mexico USA. SGM benefits from Stolar's 30-year history of development and commercialization of advanced radio-geophysics instruments for a wide variety of applications. SGI's Radio Imaging Method (RIM) and AMG Gradiometer surveying and imaging services are available to customers worldwide. This state-of-the-art instrumentation is capable of identifying and locating geological features with conclusive results using large-scale tomographic images of the surveyed area. The RIM tomography is produced by the use of wireless synchronized radio waves between in-situ transmitter and receivers. The transmission of radio waves allows high-resolution mapping of layered formations, detection of geological anomalies, imaging of metalliferous ore bodies, and the detection and scaling of groundwater and contamination plumes. Engineering applications of RIM include earthen dam and containment impound imaging and the identification of void spaces within the earth.
