Established in 2010. Stitch and Chatter are known for its personal interactions with its customers. By being in a small town, we are better able to know our constant customers and are able to cater to each of their needs. We provide services such as custom quilting, quilting machine rentals, and much much more! Stitch and Chatter opened on April 1s... t, 2010. When Stitch and Chatter first opened, Dennis was still running the farm and Idona worked full time as a rural mail carrier. Together, with the help of 4 part-time employees, the shop was open 6 days a week. Stitch and Chatter began with just a few sewing notions and about 200 bolts of cotton fabrics, but quickly grew and found themselves bursting at the seams in their little shop on Main Street. In the Spring of 2015, Dennis and Idona became the proud owners of a new building to house their ever-expanding sewing and quilt shop! In 2017, Dennis passed away leaving Idona with an amazing group of friends, shoppers and fellow quilters that help carry on the Stitch & Chatter name, love, and creativity. Aside from the products, services, and classes, they offer a unique place for local quilters to gather and share ideas and projects.
