Steven Courtenay Architect is a sole practitioner firm specializing in residential and commercial construction. We have over 20 years of experience. As an Architect and sole practitioner, I believe Architecture should grow from the land, encompass the surroundings melding with nature. As we have progressed as a culture we find ourselves finally becoming better stewards of the environment around us. I believe this is positive. When I design the needs of my client comes first but, I also know that it is important how the surrounding community will embrace my work. I hold both a Master degree in Architecture from the Newschool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, California and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from New York Institute of Technology.
