Sterling Packaging designs and manufacture paperboard folding cartons for a variety of industries, Sterling Packaging's specialties being the Food & Beverage Industry & Pharmaceutical Industry. Since it's inception in 1989 Sterling Press & Packaging Inc. has agressively met the demands of it's customers. Sterling Press started out in 1989 as a comm... ercial printing company. Jim Hickson (President) quickly realized that there was a demand for paperboard folding cartons. Sterling Press became Sterling Press & Packaging Inc and began its journey of producing folding cartons. Due to the rapid growth in the folding carton business, Sterling quickly outgrew the Winnipeg Plant. In 1993 the decision to move to Sterling Packaging's current location in Selkirk, Manitoba was finalized. The new plant offered more space, more equipment, new customers and opportunities. Thanks to Sterling Packaging's customers, investors and shareholders beliefs in Sterling Sterling Packaging out grew the Selkirk plant. By December 2000 the expansion of Sterling Packaging's building was complete; Sterling Packaging doubled in size! The catalyst for Sterling Packaging's growth is no secret, it is Sterling Packaging's commitment and dedication to Sterling Packaging's collective goal of providing a world class one stop folding carton supply center.
