About Steps to Success
Steps to Success (STS) is a comprehensive achievement program for low-income students and their families, most living in Brookline's public housing. Each year, STS serves approximately 250+ young people in Grades 4-12 and, through our College Success Initiative (CSI), an additional 70+ students in college or other post-secondary programs. STS provides academic support and enrichment, a unique advising system, college awareness and readiness, work connections for youth through paid summer internships, as well as family education and support services. Our goal is to make a "sea change" for all the young people in the population we serve. There are no academic filters. Steps takes all comers, regardless of grade point average or motivation.Explore more
