STEP, Inc. is a service provider company established in 1996 and is now on its 16th year. It traces its humble beginnings from a 30 square meter office in Anglo Building in Mandaluyong with only three employees - an HR assistant, a messenger, and an accounting staff, while the President who was also the marketing officer was still working full-time... as an executive of a food company. For 3 to 4 months, it had no clients, but Ms. Linda Ang did not give up. She strived to protect what STEP's supposed to be, a service provider which can compete directly in the mainstream. Through sheer patience, hard work, prayers, and determination, STEP positioned itself to service the top 5000 corporations in the Philippines and continuously changed its ways and approaches to improve more for the benefit of those who believed that the company can reach its goal at that time. In time, the company reinvented itself by getting bigger offices in Ortigas Center, hiring better qualified personnel, upgrading its facilities and testing materials, joining the association of other service contractors in the Philippines, having in-house trainings to update the competence of its staff and officers, and acquiring the service of labor consultants from U.P. Solair. Sales and Marketing efforts were intensified until finally, the President gave up her other job to give 100% of her time to the company. With these, the quality of service, and the vision and mission, STEP gained the trust and loyalty of its clients. STEP can proudly say that its has at least made life better for everybody who was involved in the organization and since thereon, will look for the company better opportunities to be consistent in the success that it has achieved.
