At Standing Springs we practice a "blended" style of worship. By that we mean that we use both traditional hymns and contemporary choruses in our worship service. Our choir and soloists sing music from a variety of traditions such as traditional anthems, contemporary styles, and southern gospel. During congregational singing a multimedia system displays the words of the song on a screen over the pulpit so worshippers can either use their hymn book or look at the screen to see the words. Our pastor places a sermon outline in the bulletin each week and the outline is displayed on the screen as he preaches allowing those present to better follow the preaching.Read More
