Standard Contracting, Inc. is signatory to the Local 49 International Union of Operating Engineers. Our workers are trained through Local 49 apprenticeship and training programs. In addition, they maintain certifications as Erosion Control Site Managers, Inspectors and Installers, and are trained in the operation of specialty equipment. We maintain a safe working environment by holding regular safety meetings for workers and adhering to safety standards endorsed by our insurance provider for operating equipment, work procedures and personal safety equipment. Standard Contracting, Inc. is a woman owned and run business certified as a DBE, WBE, SBE and TGB to provide site-related services. We provide our contracting services to the Minneapolis/St. aul Metro area and the cities within a 50-mile radius, including Rochester, Lino Lakes, Maple Grove, Eden Prairie, Woodbury, and Hastings.Read More
