Istanbul Shipyard's research and development branch is a young and energetic research and development branch established in 2003 in the heart of the shipbuilding center of Turkey. The main focus of this group is the design and development of marine propeller and shaft pairs, including controllable pitch propellers (FPPs and CPPs). This is one of the first groups in Turkey with the sole focus being the design and production of the CPPs. The near term goal of it is the propulsion projects that has not been well studied in Turkey; especially through an organized project management and a well established infrastructure.Explore more
