St Marys is a highly successful multicultural Church of England school where Christian principles and values pervade and underpin all that we are and do. Our Christian values of Respect, Love, Pride (joy and thankfulness in our achievements), and Endeavour (developing perseverance and resilience) ensures we support our children to develop their full God given potential. Through these values our children develop good manners; good discipline; respect for themselves and respect for others which become the norm and part of everyday school life. Through the teaching of these values we hope that they will become the childrens lifelong values that will help them to contribute successfully to their local community and navigate increasing complex national and global communities. We all want the best for our children and we know that children achieve more when parents and school work together. We are very much a community school and value the role of parents and guardians in the education of their children. Parent evenings, newsletters, workshops, parents joining their children in learning, induction meetings and weekly celebration collective worship creates opportunities to work in partnership.
