Who is St Mary's School

St. Marys is more than a small school rooted in family traditions. Its full of hard-working families willing to make sacrifices so that their child ren have the best Catholic education. Our family has valued the many benefits of Catholic education for 4 generations right here in Bloomington and we thank god every day for this school and its staff St. Marys is a special place. Its more than just a school, its a family. The St. Marys faculty and staff care about me and my kids, as people, not just staff and students. Parents participate in school events and are active around the school. Weve been active at the school for over 10 years and are still very happy with our choice. My eleven years at St. Marys School were some of the best years of my life. I learned many skills that you would not learn at any other school. My favorite was learning how to serve by helping others. St. Marys is a place where I felt safe to be me and that helped me to excel in academics and athletics. I am currently at Central Catholic High School and I thank my teachers at St. Marys for preparing me for high school. St. Marys is my hearts home. It is a place that centers me. The people of St. Marys have a heart for service and to help those in need. I love to share my faith and pray with the children in my classroom and on the volleyball court. Weaving the teachings of the Catholic Church throughout our day at St. Marys focuses me on my faith and helps me to be better.
