St John's Richmond

St. John's Richmond is an independent church affiliated with St John's (Shaughnessy) Anglican Church in Vancouver, British Columbia. We have applied to the Anglican Network in Canada for episcopal oversight, and are working towards the renewal of the Anglican Church in Canada, but at this time we are an independent church in the Anglican tradition.... We meet at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond and partner with Broadmoor in several ministry and outreach activities. We are a diverse congregation with many young families and members from a variety of ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds. We are all united by our common interest in learning more about what God has done for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. We consider the Bible to be God's Word revealed to us, and we uphold the traditional and mainstream principles of the Christian faith. We are a "conserving" church, seeking to remain true to Christ's Christianity. Q: How can I learn more about the Christian faith? St. John's Richmond conducts a 7-week course called Christianity Explored, designed to cover the essentials of the Christian Faith. This is an informal course for people who'd like to learn more about Christianity for the first-time, as well as for Christians who feel they need a refresher on the basics. It is offered at a variety of times at St John's Richmond and in individual homes.
