St John's Chapel Primary School

Working in collaboration with Rookhope, Forest of Teesdale and Wearhead Primary Schools Welcome to St Johns Chapel Primary School. We are a small 2 class primary school with Preschool provision for 3+ year olds, located in Weardale in the North Pennines. We federated with Wearhead , Rookhope and Forest of Teesdale Primary Schools in January 2021 as... the Upper Durham Dales Federation, and have recently begun our journey to work closely with our partner schools to provide an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum for our pupils. Team work, collaborative and outdoor learning are key elements of our school ethos. We aim to inspire our children and create a life-long love of learning. We expect excellent behaviour, kindness, respect and good manners from our children and in return, we strive to give every child in our care an excellent education.
