SSG Equestrian

Dressage is my first passion and the discipline I want to take right to the top. Along with dressage, I have competed and produced my own horses from four year olds to 2* level eventing. From the age of 14 when I trained my first two ponies. Prancer whom I trained to level 4 in the ring, and Firefly who I trained & competed to level 2. Both ponies... have continued to succeed with children on them, both winning at South Island Dressage Champs 2016. Firefly came back to sell on behalf in 2019 and found a super new home for a young rider to take up the rest of the levels. My first sole dressage hack I brought to produce at age 15, Frangelico F was 3. Before an accident she was competing inter 1 and ready to step up to level 8. Fran not only helped develop me into the rider I am. She also gave me my first taste of PSG and my first international CDI-Y on her as a 7 yr old. We completed 3 seasons at international young rider level and traveled the country together. While finishing my degree in conservation & ecology SSG Equestrian was built. With our own premises on 35 acres and excellent facilities. This enabled me to be able to study while also keeping my own horses in work and being able to do something I love each and every day. After finishing my degree I promptly made the decision that I loved what I was doing and pursued my business full time. Reserve Champion PSG Canterbury champs.
