About Spry Roughley
The firm was founded in 1989 by Martin & Anne Roughley after Martin left Touche Ross & Co where he had been a partner for 8 years. The establishment of the firm was well supported by Touche Ross with the new firm substantially based on the private company clients that Martin had developed. The name Spry traces back to an antecedent firm of Spry Walker & Co, the Australian arm of Touche Ross, and we hold some of the historical records of antecedent firms whose heritage goes back over 100 years. We still have clients who were served by some of those firms. We are a firm of 4 Directors supported by a large team of professional accountants and other staff. Being located in the geographical centre of Sydney gives us the opportunity to provide services to clients across the greater Sydney area.
