SPREAD THE HEALTH is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving health outcomes in rural Zambia. We work with partnering organizations and communities with limited access to healthcare to: Spread the Health works with organizations in the US and Zambia to improve access to care for those living in southern Zambia. Community Empowerment Centre (C... EC) is a non-governmental organization operating within the Siavonga District in Zambias Southern Province. CEC offers scholarships to post-graduate students in fields such as education and medicine, provides workshops in entrepreneurship and micro-financing, and advocates for the rights of women and children. CEC is currently managed by ten indigenous Zambians. the Zimbabwean Independence War. Harvest Help believes that outside assistance can serve as a catalyst for development, but communities themselves best understand their priorities and have the knowledge and expertise to resolve the problems they face. With this framework, Harvest Help seeks to increase the capacity of communities through human resource development and farming, education and health-based initiatives. Namumu Orphanage Centre is a non-governmental organization located in Siavonga, Zambia that provides food, clothing, shelter, education and health care to orphans and vulnerable children.
