About Splc-r
SPLC built Capline in 1968 and was the operator for 45 years. During that time many employees began their SPLC careers working on Capline; and, many others spent part(s) of their career with SPLC working on Capline. On August 16th SPLC employees? & some of the employees of Marathon who are now operating Capline met with about 50 SPLC Retirees ?to celebrate Shell Pipe's close association with Capline at a Farewell Event at St. James. Greg Smith, SPLC's President; a Marathon representative; and, several others spoke at the luncheon in Donaldsville?. Everyone enjoyed the time of remembering and sharing about the various 'exploits' of the good folks who worked on Capline over the years.
