Patel's work largely invloved in opening and managing 100 Marco's Plaza restaurants in the state of Georgia, USA. Throughout his high school days, he worked in these restaurants learning how they are run. The experience led him to do something of his own after high school - a low start-up cost franchise that other millennials, like him, could afford to open. He wanted his business to sell products that were millennial focused and also something unique (differentiated). Khushal has always been fond of chicken wings, and coupled with his passion for international flavors, the young entrepreneur launched the first Spice Wing in 2017. The wings were an instant hit and for 3 years in a row the Spice Wing has won the Taste of Suwanee Wing Competition.
