Spears & MacLeod Pharmasave has been a proud member of the Yarmouth community since 1987, and one of the original Pharmasaves on the East Coast. Originally owned and operated by partners Jim MacLeod and Art Spears, Spears & MacLeod Pharmasave has continued to grow over the years, slowly expanding into the store space on John St. and Alma St. Within... the store, renovations continue, making this Pharmacy the best in Yarmouth. New Departments include the Southwest Photo Centre and the Postal Service , with an expanded Home Health Care section too. Jim and Art chose the Pharmasave brand because of the strength the brand begins to the name, as well as its ability to allow owners to creatively manage their own stores based on the unique needs of the community. There is no 'big box' feel here - you'll always get personal service with a small town feel. David Cogan, Pharmacist, began working for the Pharmasave in 1990 and by 2000 also became a partner, after the passing of original partner Art Spears. In 2013, Jim handed over the reigns to David Cogan who is now the sole owner.
