SPARK's programs exist to provide care for the child who cannot be home alone while a parent or guardian is away at work. Our programs admit children ranging from 6 weeks to 14 years old. Each one of our programs exists to ensure proper childhood development in a safe, secure, and fun environment. Little Learners: 6 weeks to 5 years old. This progr... ams runs at our location on 202 Water St. in Naugatuck, CT. The site is split into two different areas, one area for infants and toddlers, and another for Pre-k. Each room is filled with fun activities. A child to staff ratio of 4 to 1 will always be maintained in the infant/toddler area and a child to staff ratio of 10 to 1 will always be maintained in the Pre-K room. For more details on this program, click here Before/After School: 5 years to 14 years old. This program runs at both Maple Hill and Hop Brook elementary schools. Our before school program begins at 7 a.m. and lasts until the start of school. Our after school programs runs from dismissal until 6 p.m. During both programs, children will have the opportunity to play games, play with toys, play in the gym, go outside, and much more. A child to staff ratio of 10 to 1 will be maintained at all times. Busing options are available. Please click here to find out more about the program. Summer Adventure Program: 5 years to 14 years old. Our Summer Adventure program runs out of Maple Hill Elementary School. The program typically runs from June to August (click here for this year's dates). The program is an all day program running from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to play games, play outside, go on field trips, participate in different classes, go to the lake, and more.
