SPACEstudio is a client-focused practice promoting good design and the added value it brings to projects. The two studio directors, Sarah Aldridge and Jason Trisley, have gained a broad range of skills through experience working on residential, hospitality and commercial projects in Australia, UK, Europe and Japan. We like to work from first princi... ples, starting with the client brief. We aim to provide our clients with a bespoke design solution to their particular requirements, incorporating site conditions, climate and budget. The design skills of the studio are balanced by an understanding of the construction industry and the importance of budget and timely project delivery. We actively establish strong relationships and good communication channels with our clients to ensure a successful project outcome. We enjoy working collaboratively with the client, design team, and contractor. This open working method encourages effective resolution of problems and the inclusion of opportunities such challenges provide. We have good working relationships with a number of local consultants, and are always happy to work with new ones. Where possible we try to keep things simple. Our work has been recognised by the Australian Institute of Architects awards programme. Our Possum Creek house won the NSW Country Division award for Residential Architecture and our Byron Community Primary School project won the NSW Country Division award for Non-residential Architecture.Read More
