Space Mining and Resources Coalition, Inc. (SM&RC) is a nonprofit corporation and operates exclusively for scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. Space Mining and Resources Coalition, Inc.'s purpose is to research and promote the commerc... ial use of the growing inventory of measured and indicated mineral and energy resources found in outer space. The primary purpose of SM&RC will be to provide information to the aerospace industry about mining, and to the mining industry about aerospace, providing a clearinghouse function that maximizes the crossfertilization of knowledge and serves as an industry connector in order to facilitate the maximum utility of space mineral and energy resources to the longterm economic benefit of humankind. Specific activities could include funding focused research and prizes for specific topic areas; development and maintenance of databases on space resources, technology, and economics; tracking current and upcoming events, and hosting dialogues, lectures and conferences on the topic of space mineral and energy resources and their economic value. Information could be disseminated through a variety of channels including technical conferences and other public venues as well as utilizing social media and the corporation's website to provide facts, statistics, database functions, and other related information. Our programs could also include sending out ambassadors or volunteers to promote the cause on a local, regional and global level, and to hold networking events in order to maximize industrial response to newlydiscovered space resource economic opportunities.Read More
