It was in the year 1972 that Sushil Kajaria, with fierce foresight and faith in his sons, decided to take the family business a notch higher by formalising all the ventures into a strong identity - SPA Group, a company name spurring from the initials of Sushil, Prashant, and Amit Kajaria. Sushil, Prashant, and Amit institutionalised the legacy, spirit of entrepreneurship and sense of treating everyone like family into a powerful corporate identity called SPA Group that today holds a strong presence in the verticals it operates in. What started off as a business of mini steel plant and coal mine trading diversified into liquid warehousing in 1972 after taking over a terminal from Burmah Shell.
