Our mission, then, was to provide the finest restaurants and hotels in the nation with the best service and highest quality specialty produce. Our Southern Selects line of value added specialty produce and our extensive private label programs provide consumers with delicious, nutritious, safe and convenient produce for the entire family. We control all aspects of growing, importing, processing and distributing our expanding menu of specialty fruits and vegetables from the best farms in the Americas. Food safety begins on the farms, where our growers monitor water sources, limit the use of fertilizers and pesticides, and rely on the use of beneficial insects to provide biological controls where possible. Our trained quality assurance team works hard to maintain our food safety standards and closely monitors each phase of the process.
