Southdown Buses are the leading independent bus operator in the area; operating services across East Surrey and into Kent and Sussex; mainly centred on the towns of Oxted, Caterham, Redhill, Crawley, and East Grinstead. We are frequently investing in newer vehicles for our services, and boast one of the youngest fleets in the UK for an independent operator. Our buses are washed and cleaned every night, and thoroughly checked every morning before going into service. All of our vehicles are wheelchair friendly (see How To Use Our Buses), and are equipped with the very latest technology such as CCTV and Real Time Tracking. All of these features enable us to offer a safe, reliable, friendly, comfortable, and efficient service to all our customers. Occasionally, circumstances outside our control may delay our buses.
