Sourciety was founded by Chandni Chainani. After having worked in Buying/ (New) Product Development and Sourcing in the Fashion industry for many years she realized she how many contacts with manufacturers and partners she had made with whom she built a strong professional relationship across many categories. With the understanding that what makes... a buyer strong is not only passing good volume orders to manufacturers and developing their business as well but also to maintaining a good personal relationship with them as well. The idea for Sourciety came about when Chandni was negotiating a small sample order for Jewellery, the task of just passing a small order with a new supplier was proving to be very expensive. After having increased the number of styles to order, the manufacturer slowly came down in price. Striking the idea of consolidating orders with different companies to achieve lower prices together with manufacturers worldwide.
