Something to Talk About

Heather Ferguson earned a bachelors degree from the University of Utah in 1993 in Speech and Hearing Science. She attended the University of Nebraska- Omaha for graduate school and received a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1997. Heather has worked in the public school system for 15 years. She loves working with children of all ages... and has found immense happiness working as a speech-langauge pathologist. Katie Poland earned a Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University in 2004 and a Master's degree from University of Utah in 2006, both in speech-language pathology. She has worked in the public schools ever since and has loved her job! She has worked with children from preschool to junior high, with a variety of needs, and in a variety of settings. She has been fortunate to work in great schools in Utah. She couldn't think of a greater career than that of a speech-language pathologist! While she loves being an SLP, she is grateful even more to be a wife and a mother. Speech therapy has offered her the flexibility to stay at home, while still supporting her family.
